We told you
last month how IDW planned to relaunch it's G.I.Joe comic book titles this coming February with a new series by Fred Van Lente and artist Steve Kurth.
The new title will replace the existing title and be the flagship title for two other new titles IDW will be lunching, G.I. Joe: Special Missions debuting in March by Chuck Dixon and Paul Gulacy and G.I. Joe: Cobra Files by Mike Costa and Antonio Fuso.
G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, an IDW continuation of his original Marvel series will be unaffected by this latest relaunch.
In this new title which grows out of the events from the existing titles, the Joes who were once a top-secret organization have been outed and thrown into the public spotlight while still having to deal with the forces of Cobra.
USAToday has revealed all the cover for this new #1 issue including a Baroness one by Arthur Adams. They have also posted an interview with Van Lente about the new project. Check out the covers below and
