They look good but I can't see me getting these again.

If there weren't so many other great lines out that I was collecting, I'd probably try to get these, but so many of these characters have been done recently and have so much reuse (even accessories).

I'd snap Joe figures up at retail again in a heartbeat. I'll probably pick up some of the 50th anniversary stuff, too, if I run across it. This just seems like even more of a commitment than Matty's MOTUC, and at least those guys are larger and a bit more unique.

I'm looking forward to him. I never got this version during the new sculpt era.

Yeah, I only like a few of them. These are the ones I like:

Cover Girl

Wide scope

Toll booth

Tan Grunt

Cross Country

Ones I want:

Alpine- Bozooka needs his buddy

That the only one I am looking for.

I don't get the sub figs, most my figures are customized anyway, so too much for me to start hacking apart, lol.

The Joe forums are dead because the line has been reduced to nothing but high priced exclusives that only a small fraction of the fan base is willing to shell out for.

I love GI Joe and would love to talk more toys but personally, my contributions will be little more than, "Nice looking figure" to something that's so high priced that I'll never own it.

I CAN say, "Nice looking figure" to all of these reveals (and it would probably be true) but I think you'd all get really bored by it.

I've been kinda down-in-the-dumps lately too, with all of the doom-and-gloom talk floating around. It does indeed seem like a dark time for G.I. Joe, but I'm encouraged by the club subscription figures. Yeah, they're a little high-priced, but at least it's modern sculpts in classic retro packaging. I read the list of upcoming figures on another site, and it's shaping up to be a great line-up. Heck, I even considered signing up for a sub I was so impressed and excited, but I can't really afford it right now...

I'm not gonna let it get me down, but that may be easy enough to say for someone that has a very tiny collection, relatively speaking. There's tons of stuff I don't have, so a hiatus of sorts might allow me to play catch-up, as it were.

For the record, seems like this Alpine is based/inspired on 1 of the Valor V.S. Venom looks. Specifically, the Verison 3 looks(According to YoJoe.com):

Man...these forums are DEAD.

A new figure like this posted, and not a single reply all day...

Maybe because this is anti-news? Put an Alpine at Walmart or Target where everyone can get it, then we'll have something to talk about.

Have to agree here.
