This week's TNI Cool Custom is of IDW style Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bebop Action Figure. This custom was done by
FUGAYZIE.
Here is how he describes it.
"I've been wanting to make this figure since Bebop first appeared in the new comic. I wanted to have both of the duo done so I could show them together, but I haven’t even selected the parts I’ll need for Rocksteady yet and I’m too impatient to wait, so here’s his bro, Bebop!
This is modeled after the IDW version as seen in issue 39 which was illustrated by Mateus Santolouco. Bebop stands about 8” tall so he is in scale with the 6” Santolouco turtles I made. I’m very happy with how this guy turned out. Next to my Dan Duncan turtle, Bebop is the most accurate IDW figure I’ve made.
I used a pair of SF Guile legs, ML Wendigo upper body, and TMNT Classics Bebop hands. Most parts were heavily modified and the head is an original sculpt by me obviously. I’m going to start looking for parts for Rocksteady. Don’t know when I’ll get around to doing him, but he’s on my list."
