G.I.Joe Lt. Falcon By DavAnthony

This week's TNI Cool Custom Of The Week was done by DavAnthony, who has created a custom 3 3/4" G.I.Joe Lt. Falcon figure. Here is how Dav describes the making of this:

I've been gathering parts for Falcon for over the last few years. I luckily found the head with the right look I wanted when I bought a WWII BBI fighter I had wanted for years. Alot of part combinations didn't look right and I ended up switching the upper legs after I had the entire figure put togeather. I had originally wanted to give Falcon a more modernized look (like the Duke figure I did)but Falcon is kind of like Hawk in that I think he has a rather iconic look. So I decided to just add a few things here and there. His shirt has a flap on it, instead of the old seem, plus I gave him a pair of worn half gloves that I thought looked pretty cool I had also debated if I wanted to give him the longer shirt with his belt over it or have it tucked into his pants (as he appeared in the Devils Due comic). I decided to go with the original look for two reason-I though it looked better and also I had wanted to try sculpting an entire waist piece. The waist piece is entirel sculpted and elongated from the belt down.

Parts:
Head, hands (modded)-BBI WWII fighter plan figure and WWII infantry
Chest-JvsC Torpedo
Upper Arms-DTC Footloose
Lower Arms-JvsC Duke
Waist-JvsC Gung Ho (heavily modified)
Uppler Legs-VvsV Duke
Lower Legs-Crosshair
Beret-JvsC Stalker dremeled out
Backpack-RAH Falcon
antenae-figure twisty-tie
