This week's TNI Cool Custom is of a G.I.Joe B.A.T. Maintenance Bay by GIJoeKing65.

Here is how GIJoeKing65 describes the making of this custom:

"Been wanting to get this one done for awhile given the love I have for the 25th BATS. Can you place the big structure against the back wall, that is what playset it came from? It will be a while before I can get to any more. I have a few more Cobra levels I want to complete (HISS motorpool, mocasin bay, MARS vehicle bay with troops and R&D Center, Mindbender's genetics Lab with Brainwave Scanner for Dr. Venom if we get him from the Collector's Club (finger's crossed.) but I am getting anxious to start on the Joe stuff too. Hope you guyus like it. Happy Holidays"

Had a request by a TNI member to post some of the JPEG files I made for the BAT MNT. Bay. (I hope I didn't violate any copyright laws by posting them, but if I did , moderators, please do what must be done.)

Hope you can find a use for these if interested.

Looking forward to getting back to building more custom levels this summer. Next up is a double level MARS weapons bay for Destro with three AGPs and 2 DEMONS as well plenty of room for Destro's personal army. (A.K.A. 2005 Convention Set X2)

Absolutely mind-blowing!!! That is one of the coolest things I have ever seen! Especially because you have so many B.A.T's...not just 5 or so.....like 20+. When I was a kid, I always wanted mulitple B.A.T's so it would be realistic. Once again, soooooo awesome.

ahh yes, i see the differnce now. The V1s have silver face plates, 25ths have a red face plate. Sorry, it wasn;t that easy to see in the pictures.
Nevertheless, awesome

They do seem to blend well together though don't they. I hope to pick up a bunch more 25th BATs if I can find more. My 25th collection is separate from the ARAH stuff, but the 25th BATs just look too cool NOT include in the dio.
