This week's TNI Cool Custom is of a Transformers vs. G.I.Joe Optimus Prime as a HISS Tank by
Chanformers.
Here is how Chansformers describes the making of this figure:
"
hi,new to this site but not to the love of all things that transform.anyhow,these are pics of my entry for a contest over on hisstank.com.there is wip pics of him but for some weird reason the credit for them went to a guy named wangbaobao on the actoys site the base figure started as a energon ironhide,the head is from beastwars optimus primal(black ape),his feet are from cybertron vector prime,his chest plate and skid plate/head cover are from a bucked up dollarstore tank.the rest of it is alot of styrene and odds and sods.the covers on the sides of his legs are from energon prime's trailer.unfortunately,due to the weird proportions of the hiss tank(wide giant cavity in the rear and almost non existant cavity in the front),he has 4 parts that tf by partsforming and attaching via strong magnets.he was then coated with automotive matte black,then drybrushed with tamiya acrylic x-4 blue and x-f7 flat red and xf-16 flat aluminum.once it all cured he was then coated with 2 coats of krylon matte clearcoat.all thats left now is to install his tank mode headlights."
