This week's TNI Cool Custom is of a 3 3/4 G.I. Joe Adventure Team MSV vehicle. The custom was by Ltfalcon.

Here is how he describes the making of it.

"Growing up with Gi Joe in the 70's was great as a kid. Then after my kids started in the 90's with the 3 3/4 Joes I got hooked on collecting them. Fast forward to 2010 when the Club released the 3 3/4 Adventurers, I bought them all and customized more. I just couldn't get enough of the fuzzy head bearded Adventurers that I grew up with. But one major piece was missing, the cool vehicles.

Being a design engineer I thought hey just redesign the vehicles I grew up with using 3D cad then print the pieces out on a 3D printer. I also vacuum formed the bubble from the 3d printed bubble. I've also made the 6x6 ATV complete with working winch."

Check out the images of his work below in our GALLERY.

That is fantastic. I knew this 3D stuff is going to change the future of toys. I wish I could do it.

Man wish my "pops" was less into making beer pyramids & into fabricating Joe vehicles for me when I was a lad, those are Ahhhhhmazing, great job, I did take CAD classes but had to take leave when economics at home forced me to work & I couldn't work the night classes angle either, I can always go back but this is one the reasons I was interested in the field. One of my final projects was to do an technical drawing of one of my guitars, it was fun but rough...Great Work & Even cooler that you made them from a 3D Printer, that invention will change our collecting world in the years to come. I can't wait till the cost of printing our own designs becomes cheaper & easier for the layman....while I wouldn't take the pirating road I would definitely make my own stuff....once again Fricken Awesome work man
