CINESCAPE SPOTLIGHTS BOON & PO PO!
Way of the Rat #1 Included in Popular Genre Magazine!

Continuing its efforts to share the excitement of comic books with the world, the Oct./Nov. issue of Cinescape magazine contains a free Cinescape Special Edition of WAY OF THE RAT #1. The full-color 32-page comic also features a "First Look" at penciler Jeff Johnson's sketchbook and a previously unpublished pin-up of the mysterious sailor known only as the Falconer.

In a full-page article, Arnold T. Blumberg, Senior Editor of the popular genre magazine, writes: "This issue, Cinescape is proud to feature a special premium edition of CrossGen's WAY OF THE RAT #1, written by Chuck Dixon. The comic follows the exploits of an outlaw and his simian companion as they encounter all manner of adventures in a land much like ancient China... (and) should thrill fans of martial arts action and monkey sidekicks."

The popular genre magazine continues its coverage of all things CrossGen with a five star review of EL CAZADOR #1 and an in-depth article on our education initiative BRIDGES titled "Bridging the Generation Gap: CrossGen wants to show kids that comics are still fun -- and educational -- to read."

Coinciding with the release of the Cinescape Special Edition, WAY OF THE RAT #17 -- featuring spooky spirits and more monkey mayhem -- leapt into comics shops on October 1st.
