Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are Aliens & Not Mutants?

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce you to the Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles. No, that is not a typo but a possible new direction for Platinum Dunes' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles if Michael Bay has his way.

Producer Michael Bay spoke before a large audience at last week's Nickelodeon Upfront in New York and the site, Stuff We Like obtained a 15 second video of Bay saying that kids are going to see this movie and believe that these turtles do exist when they are done with the movie. These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable. Check out the video below for a direct quote.

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is being directed by Jonathan Liebesman and the script is from Josh Appelbaum, Andrew Nemec, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and John Fusco.
