2025 San Diego Comic Con Toy Company Panel Schedule - Hasbro, Mattel, McFarlane, Jada Toys And More

The 2025 San Diego Comic Convention kicks off next Wednesday (7/23) with Preview Night followed by 4 days of panels from various toy companies where they will be announcing and showing off new product. Here is a break down of times and days for all those panels which we will be bringing you coverage of here on the websites as they happen.

Wednesday July 24

Thursday July 24

10:30am - 11:30am PDT - Funko: Welcome to the Funderdome - Room 6BCF
Funko’s main stage moment will be the place for fans to experience chaos, charm, and collectibles live! Think: exclusive reveals, first looks, giveaways, and celebrity guest stars Nathan Fillion (Superman, Firefly), Devora Wilde (Baldur's Gate 3), Jon Bailey (Marvel Rivals), and Jenna Davis (M3GAN). This star-studded panel promises over-the-top antics, delightfully delicious fan service, and some SUPER secret celebrity surprises! Moderated by Katie Wilson and Jason Bischoff.

11:15am - 12:15pm PDT - Mattel WWE Elite Squad Panel - Room 6A
The Mattel WWE Elite Squad defends their title again as the action figure champions of Comic-Con International with all-new WWE action figure reveals and WWE Superstar guests. Featuring the Mattel Design team and WWE Superstars.

1:00pm - 2:00pm PDT - TMNT Toys - Grand 12 & 13, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina
Paramount gives an exclusive reveal of upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products from partners including Playmates, NECA, McFarlane Toys, and more. Expect surprises and giveaways. Cowabunga!

2:00pm - 3:00pm PDT - Mondo Toy Talk Live - Room 7AB
Mondo’s creative team takes an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at their latest drops—and a few surprises along the way. Inspired by the fan-favorite YouTube livestream Mondo Toy Talk, this panel will feature Hector Arce (senior. director, creative and product development), Peter Santa Maria, a.k.a. AttackPeter (senior creative director), Cam Dean (Mondo music label manager), Josh Manderville (managing art director), and others as they pull back the curtain on the artistry, vision, and process behind Mondo’s most anticipated drops and exclusives. Stick around until the end for a special giveaway for all attendees!

2:15pm - 3:15pm PDT - LEGO NINJAGO: The Adventure Continues - Room 6BCF
Dragons! Combat! And tiny plastic ninja! Come witness the red ninja action as LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising stars Vincent Tong (the voice of Kai, elemental master of fire) and Kazumi Evans (the voice of Wyldfyre, elemental master of heat) perform a new canon scene live, written by Dragons Rising head writers and fellow panelists Kevin Burke and Doc Wyatt exclusively for Comic-Con 2025. Pamela Keller and Ryan Burns (LEGO Entertainment executive producers) round out the panel to share the latest and greatest on all things NINJAGO, including next year's 15th anniversary celebration.

3:00pm - 4:00pm PDT - Jada Toys: Pushing Collecting to the Next Level - Room 9
From Street Fighter and Mega Man to Scooby-Doo and more, Jada Toys is leveling up the world of collectibles. Get a first look at new action figures and die-cast lines, plus exclusive reveals and behind-the-scenes insights from Juhn Lim (vice president of product development) and Darryl Li (director of brand management). Be there for the live debut of a beloved franchise making its Jada Toys premiere—only at this panel. Moderated by Brian Sun (senior marketing manager).

4:00pm - 5:00pm PDT - Nacelle's Star Trek Action Figures - Room 32AB
Brian Volk-Weiss (The Toys That Made Us, Disney’s Behind the Attraction) and Nacelle Toys present an intergalactic deep dive into their officially licensed Star Trek action figure line, featuring an exclusive first look at the renders for wave two and a sneak peek at wave three. Brace for impact, because Nacelle’s materializing something stellar for your Star Trek collection.

6:45pm - 7:45pm PDT - NacelleVerse Unleashed: Biker Mice from Mars, RoboForce, and More - Room 6A
Brian Volk-Weiss (The Toys That Made Us, Disney’s Behind the Attraction) and the Nacelle team give an exclusive sneak peek at this epic new animated universe connecting fan-favorite franchises like RoboForce, Biker Mice from Mars, Sectaurs, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, Power Lords, The Great Garloo, and Barnyard Commandos, with new shows, toys, comics, and more.

7:00pm - 8:00pm PDT - The Loyal Subject Retro ’80s Toys and Talent - Room 28DE
The Loyal Subjects (TLS Toy) go on an epic journey to bring back the vibe of the '80s with the coolest retro toys of all time from such brands as M.A.S.K., Jem and the Holograms, Popples, My Pet Monster, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, and My Buddy. The design team will share fun facts about many of the toys and will unveil reveals of upcoming new releases. In addition, the panel will host OG voice actors from the '80s animated shows the toys are based on so fans can hear and see their toys brought to life like never before. The talent includes toy designers Dina Al Rifai (director, toy design) and John Warden (toy designer), Samantha Newark (Jem '80s voice actress), Britta Phillips (Jem '80s singer), and Bettina Bush (Rainbow Brite '80s voice actress). Live sing-alongs and an immersive interactive panel experience like none other—make sure to bring your boombox and sunglasses!


Friday July 25

10:00am - 11:00am PDT - Hasbro G.I. Joe Panel - Room 6DE
The G.I. Joe development team shares a behind-the-scenes look at what’s next, with new product news, never-before-heard stories, digital character renders, in-hand figure prototypes, and pre-order launches.

11:00am - 12:00pm PDT - JAKKS Pacific and Disguise Costumes Upcoming Releases - Room 29AB
The panel will spotlight Disguise’s costumes from popular brands, including Minecraft, Pokémon, Demon Slayer, Wicked, and more, along with JAKKS Pacific’s preview of upcoming collectibles and figures from Nintendo, Sonic the Hedgehog, Bendy, The Simpsons, and others. JAKKS and Disguise will lead a Q&A session where all fans are welcome.

11:30am - 12:30pm PDT - Marvel Legends Panel with Hasbro - Room 5AB
The Hasbro and Marvel product experts discuss exciting news about Hasbro’s ever-popular Marvel Legends product line. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at upcoming items, followed by a Q&A for your burning Marvel Legends questions. Coverage will be on MarvelousNews.com.

1:00pm - 2:00pm PDT - Inside the McFarlane Toys Multiverse - Room 6A
Get an exclusive first look at the latest and greatest toys and collectibles from McFarlane Toys and Todd McFarlane himself! Explore brands like DC Multiverse, Marvel, Spawn, and so much more. The McFarlane Toys team, along with special guests, provide an in-depth look at these highly anticipated products. Plus, there will be some surprises and giveaways!

2:00pm - 3:00pm PDT - Hasbro Star Wars Panel - Room 7AB
Members of the Hasbro marketing and design teams discuss the popular Hasbro Star Wars line, including the Black Series and The Vintage Collection. Attendees will get an in-depth look at Hasbro’s latest action figure offerings from throughout the saga. Word on the HoloNet is there may also be a few surprises. May the Force be with you! 5:00pm - 6:00pm PDT - Hasbro Transformers Panel - Room 25ABC
The Hasbro Transformers Toy Development team takes you behind the scenes to unveil the latest character figures from across the iconic brand. Plus, time permitting, there will also be a Q&A session filled with trivia and giveaways. Coverage will be on Tformers.com.


Saturday July 26

10:00am - 11:00am PDT - Jazwares 2025 Sneak Peek - Room 6A
This year Jazwares goes bigger, bolder, and brighter! Collectibles connoisseur Jeremy Padawer presents exclusive reveals, including new collectibles from the Jazwares Vault, Pokémon, Squishmallows, Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron, Total Anime, AEW, BLDR, Hello Kitty and Friends, and more. Expect the unexpected with epic brand updates from Jazwares panelists Paul Viggiano (Pokémon brand and design), Tim Bungeroth (Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron & BLDR), Daniel Jung (AEW Brand), Selah Estrada (Total Anime Brand), Aaron Margolin (sci-fi and horror brand and design), and Elena Wilson (Hello Kitty and Friends design).

2025 12:00pm - 1:00pm PDT - Indy Toy Makers Unite! (and Survive) - Grand 12 & 13, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina
Indie companies and creators are making, crowdfunding, and selling their own action figures. Do you want to be one of them? Creators who are producing and marketing their own independent toys and making their mark on the collectible community focus on the creative “how to” of toy making. Moderators Jordan Q Hammer and Richard Mayerik are joined by Brian Flynn of Super7, Bill Murphy of BigBadWorkShop, Chris Scott of Grindhouse Toys, toy designers Sarah Lynn Reynolds and Quang Le, Trevor Zammit of NECA, Doc Wyatt, and Gavin Hignight of Wandering Planet Toys.

Expect insights, behind-the-scenes stories, and maybe even a few surprises as they dive into the past, present, and future of comics.

3:00pm - 4:00pm PDT - Toy Makers Talking Toys - Grand 12 & 13, Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina
Doctors talk to doctors. Lawyers talk to lawyers. But people within the toy industry rarely get to talk to each other. What happens when toy worlds collide? What would top toy makers say to each other if given the opportunity? Be a fly on the wall as you hear how and why things are done the way they are, the state of the industry, their tales of woe and triumph, and the stories behind the toys and collectibles we all love. Joe), and Sean Mackiewicz (SVP/publisher, Skybound) reveal their plans for the Quintesson War, the Dreadnok War, and more. Moderated by Arune Singh (VP, brand, Skybound).

5:30pm - 6:30pm PDT - Collectible Figures and More News from Playmates Toys - Room 10
Get the latest news on collectibles, exclusives, and first-look debuts from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Godzilla x Kong Monsterverse! Playmates Toys’ Jeff Trojan, Ray Geiman, Pat Linden, John Stelnzer, Lisa Roy, Lydia Torres, and Aidan Rutten (marketing and design leaders) will review the calendar of collectible figures and exclusives from those brands and more.

6:30pm - 7:30pm PDT - Indie Action Figures: Behind the Scenes - Room 10
Go behind the scenes with indie creators building original action figure brands from scratch. Learn how they turned passion into product, overcame real challenges, and brought their worlds to life—one collectible at a time. Featuring Esteban Cifuentes (creator of FIST and toy designer), Wade Merrick (Unparalleled Universe and creator of Odios), Patrik Wang (president of Icon Heroes), and Jason Bienvenu (art director of Spero Toys).


Sunday July 27

Scott Zillner (toy expert, toy wizard), TJ Shevlin (publishing content specialist, Upper Deck Entertainment), Lenny Panzica (principal designer and lead on G.I. Joe Classified, Hasbro), Richard Mayerik (producer, The Toys That Made Us), Garrett Sander (creator, Monster High), and Dave Vonner (toy designer, noted for Mattel and Hasbro) discuss evolution, representation, and fan impact of action figures and collectible culture.
