G.I.Joe Comic Book 3-Packs

by Jay Cochran
June 20, 2004
We take a look at the upcoming G.I.Joe Comic book 3-packs. The initial assortment of these 3-packs will contain 3 sets that contain never before released "Real American Hero*" style sculpted figures based off of character appearances from the classic Marvel Comics G.I.Joe series. Each 3-pack will also come packaged with a re-print comic book from the Marvel series.

These sets should be released at most retailers later this year, however we are told (though not confirmed) that these will not be released at Wal-Mart, at least not initially. The first three sets to be released will include the follwoing figures:

Baroness, Cobra Commander, Cobra Trooper, G.I.Joe Marvel Comic Issue #1

Scarlett, Snake-Eyes W/Timber, Kwinn, G.I.Joe Marvel Comic Issue #2

General Abrnthy (AKA Hawk), Double Clutch , Sgt Stalker, G.I.Joe Marvel Comic Issue #3

*="Real American Hero" (RAH) refers to the sculpting style used for the 3 3/4" G.I.Joe figures first released back in the 80's.

There will also be versions of these 3-packs offered at this weekends convention, that contain exclusive convention versions of the comics. No word on how limited these convention versions will be.

Final versions may vary from ones shown here.
