I am disappointed that Neca didn't get his sword right. Sure, to many it is close enough, but this sword was around in my toy bins for so many years that it is as iconic to me as the Power Sword, or the Sword of Omens. The blade should be a leaf blade and the quillon should be more curled.
Yea I think I agree with you and prefer the more realistic first release. It this is still cool.

Shown below is the NECA Dungeons and Dragons 50th Anniversary 7-Inch Scale Warduke Figure which was first to market from this years Walmart Collector Con 2024 is available for pre-order from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth with a suggested retail price of $29.99.
Preordered. Planning on displaying it on my wall but, eh, we'll see. I bought an extra set of those carded Flash Gordon vintage figures Neca made specifically to display on my wall. And still havent gotten around to doing that.
The new NECA Dungeons and Dragons 50th Anniversary 7-Inch Scale Figure Warduke on Blister Card from NECA is currently available for purchase.
This looks cool, even though I'm not much of a D&D fan. Could work with Mythic Legions.
My favorite figure of last year gets the toy color treatment, looks great! Definitely getting this. Will not be getting it through Walmart, I'll wait till others get this.
