Warner Bros. Selling 10 Real-Life Batmobile Tumblers

To celebrate the 85th anniversary of the Caped Crusader, Warner Bros. is putting up for sale 10 authentic Tumblers, the iconic Batmobile seen in Christian Bale's Batman films, each priced at a whopping $2.9 million. These vehicles are designed to closely resemble those from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, though the jet exhaust and machine guns are just for show.

These limited-edition rides are made from Kevlar, carbon fiber, sheet metal, and fiberglass, featuring tubular aeronautical steel frames, four-wheel power disc brakes, and a 6.2-liter LS3 engine that cranks out 525 horsepower and 486 foot-pounds of torque. While some elements are purely for the movies, the engine's roar is the real deal. Weighing in at 5,511 pounds and stretching 9 feet wide, these beasts aren’t street-legal.

If you’ve got $2.9 million to spare, check out the official website to find out how you can snag one for your collection.

Add it to your car collection...

In my defense, I forget that people have car collections since it is so far from a reality for me.

I could see Reedpop buying one to display at conventions. Maybe Jay Leno too lol.

LOL! Cool! But I became instantly depressed when I did the math to realize that this costs more than I'm likely to make in a 50-year career.??

Tempting, but I'm saving my money for some Mythic Legion Dragons...
