Amon: Apocalypse of Devilman, AMON 1/6 Scale Statue

Gecco Corp announces a new AMON statue based on the Go Nagai's Devilman manga series. This 1/6 scale statue will see release in July 2017. It was sculpted by Shinya Akao and painted by Katsushige Akeyama. Devilman is a comic book series which features Amon the demon fighter. In the story, Amon is fused with a human named Akira Fudo and this statue captures the brutal and stoic facial expression of the character. The base of the statue consists of a huge demon skull and magic circle which captures the look and feel of the hideous demon world that Amon comes from.





I personally have never read the comic book series this character is based on, but the look and feel of this statue definitely sends chills up my back in a good way. Check out more images for this upcoming statue in our IMAGE GALLERY below.
