CNBC reports that they have learned from folks close to the matter that Toys R' Us has begun the process to file a motion with the courts to liquidate its business which would likely result in the complete closure of all 800 stores here in the US. The motion could come as soon as as the end of Wednesday making things official. They also report that the retailer started missing payments to some of its vendors this week and have not been responsive to calls.
