They aren't $10 for the same reason no one, big or small can do highly articulated 6" action figures for $10 in today's market. If you legitimately are asking why in general it's more expensive for small companies or individuals to mass produce an action figure, it primarily comes down to manufacturing and that things which get produced in smaller numbers are more expensive to have made at the factories. This isn't even really about size of the company but the size of the production order, hence why when even a large company like Hasbro makes something in smaller numbers such as a Haslab, it's more expensive to make.

Shartimus charged $28 for a 6" action figure with over 30 points of articulation, and while the campaign required higher stretch goals to be able to include accessories, that to me is a pretty good price being in today's market a mass produced 6" articulated action figure costs $25.

Unfortunately Shartimus came up a little short in his campaign yesterday reaching $90k as opposed to the needed $120k, but no Street Humans isn't dead. He will learn from this experience, make tweaks to his product and come back to offer something even better, and whether it's the next time, or the time after that or even the time after that, he will eventually obtain his goal, of that I have little doubt.

Failure is a part of life and we all deal with it at some point or another, even the most sucesful people out there.

Thank you for taking the time to respond JayC.???

Thank you for the ones they answer and to be fair with each toy company around, small toy/collectibles companies get accused, because of their 6" figures prices so I just asked a question that can be cataloged as a hard question like JayC mentioned that he doesn't invite toy makers to interview because they will not want to talk about certain questions... Shartimus asked about pricing to Brian Flynn from Super 7 and also mentioned on why he didn't make figures at X amount of price (to not get into a debate), so I just wanted to know if somebody asked him that same question like o. Why his figures are not $10... I don't think I'm doing anything wrong by asking this question if other people question other toy makers about pricing...???

Ok, I will do so then... I will post here if I get the answer to my question. ?

Seriously doubt there will be much of a need to get the answer, because this likely won't fund. I know people are hoping for a last minute "Giant-Man" surge, but these figures arent known characters, the concept is wonky, and shart is not a multibillon dollar company that has the IP for one of the most popular lines out there. Not being a hater, it just is what it is.

As stated by several other people, only Shartimus will be able to tell you what you want to know. Go ask him over on Youtube or facebook or whatever and drop it.

I really need to see an in deep interview with Shartimus talking about the cost of production and why these figures are over $20... The reason is because yearsago interview with Super 7 Brian Flynn, he told Brian on why he didn't make figures of $10 and Brian started explaining him about the production cost.????

? Why would he need to explain this? What 1:12 / 6-in + figure line has been less than $20 in the past 10 years?

I'm sure if you ask em though, He would have some kind of answer. Usually projects like this have much higher prices than what he's asking for on Kickstarter.

Unfortunately only Shartimus can answer that one. I have no horse in this race because I don't collect regular people figures.....unless they're marked WWE. Also sorry I haven't been around much last two weeks.

Hopefully nobody here is avoiding answering my question which is very valid...

Your question might be valid but it needs to be directed towards shartimus. Its his kickstarter so he should know.

Not every project funds and not every project is gonna grab backers' interest. Myself, not seeing why these would be over $30.00, but to each his own.
