“GEARED FOR A NEW WAY TO PLAY?” Hasbro will market, manufacture and distribute STIKFAS Action Figure Kits worldwide.

PAWTUCKET, RI, June 05, 2002 — Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE:HAS) announced today it has entered into an agreement with Singapore-based Stikfas Private Limited to market, manufacture and globally distribute STIKFAS, a revolutionary new action figure kit. Stikfas Pte. Ltd. will continue to work closely with Hasbro on the design and development of new STIKFAS products. STIKFAS action figure kits will be available from July in specialty stores throughout the U.S.

STIKFAS, a highly articulated and interchangeable Action Figure Kit, allows enthusiasts and collectors to express their individual personality and interests through posing and customizing.

“We are thrilled to be working closely with the creators of STIKFAS -- Mr. Ban Yinh Jheow and his team – to bring this incredibly unique product to the world”, said Deron Ellis, Hasbro Vice President of Marketing, Boys Toys. “Now action figure enthusiasts have the opportunity to express their creativity in a whole new way”.

Being avid action figure enthusiasts and collectors, the STIKFAS team recognized that the market was looking for a toy that offered both creativity and playability. After researching what was available on the market, they began to develop their ideal action figure – the result was STIKFAS action figure kits.

“We want people to be able to take STIKFAS and create the figures or characters they want. Like paper is to the artist, STIKFAS will be the open medium for toy collectors and hobbyists alike,” said Mr Ban Yinh Jheow of Stikfas Pte. Ltd. “We continue to be thrilled by the reception STIKFAS is receiving from a variety of audiences…toy collectors, news media and other ‘players’ within the toy and hobby industry.”

“We will continue to work closely with the team, to provide the growing legions of STIKFAS fans with great product,” Ellis said. “Stay tuned…we can assure you that the best is yet to come for STIKFAS.”

Hasbro will launch the STIKFAS brand at the Wizard World collector convention in Chicago, from July 5-7. The first STIFKAS Action Figure Kit – the Alpha Male Military - includes 44 interchangeable parts and accessories which snap together to build a highly poseable and customizable 3-inch figure. While the first item is Military based, new themes will be introduced over time. Available in July at local and online toy/comic/hobby specialty stores, STIKFAS Action Figure Kits will have an approximate retail of $10.

Hasbro (NYSE:HAS) is a worldwide leader in children’s and family leisure time entertainment products and services, including the design, manufacture and marketing of games and toys ranging from traditional to high-tech. Both internationally and in the U.S., its PLAYSKOOL, TONKA, MILTON BRADLEY, PARKER BROTHERS, TIGER, and WIZARDS OF THE COAST brands and products provide the highest quality and most recognizable play experiences in the world.
