Toy Fair 2016: Batman: The Animated Series Deluxe Batmobile Set Update

by Jay Cochran
February 16, 2016
A few weeks ago it was announced that DC Collectibles was going to be re-releasing their 6" scale Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile as a deluxe set. The new set would feature a Batmobile with a little bit different paint deco and new figures of Batman & Robin with soft-goods capes. The set would also feature a Bat-Signal that had a glowing effect.

While this new set was definitely cool for those who hadn't already purchased the first Batmobile released by DC Collectibles, it was a bit of a downer for who had.

DC heard your concerns and has announced that they will be releasing the new Batman & Robin figures along with the Bat-Single as a separate set, for those who don't want to purchase a second Batmobile. The figure two-pack set will list for around $70. The figures with soft-good capes will not only be nice for sitting in the Batmobile, but also for sitting in the upcoming Bat-Wing as well.
