TNI Spotlight: Justice League Animated Series Figures

Mattel's new 4 3/4" Justice League Animated series figures have started to hit the shelves of Target stores, and so we thought we would bring you a detailed look at the first four figure in the line to be released. These figures are based on the recently released DC Direct Justice League Animated Series Maquettes. The protoypes were sold to Mattel after Mattel had recently acquired the rights to produce DC Comic based toys. Each figure comes on a card back whith a collectable hologram card and display stand. The Display stand holds the hologram card of each figure and all the stands will fit together to spell out Justice League.




Though not shipping with these initial assortments of figures, (which includes Batman, Superman, Flash and Green Lantern) the back of the cards do show Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman which are due to start shipping at a later date. We have also been told by Mattel that Hawkgirl will be coming as well. Toy Fare Magazine issue 67 reports that she will be released as a comic book store exclusive, however we do not have a confirmation of this.

Without further ado here is a look at the first four figures that are being released now at Target stores with a DCPI # of 087 06 0261 and a price of $6.99 each. It should be noted that even though so far they have only shown up at Target stores, these are not Target exclusives.
