I just finished episode 1, so far I am liking it.

Just finished watching show and it isn't bad but it's nowhere close to the level of Invincible, if anything it seems very non Kevin Smith, I don't mind Teela being new hero, especially when He-man's charisma is non existent, but they didn't make her as compelling as she could be, generallycharacter development is kinda there on the surface but not really, I don't think that it's good sign when most interesting characters in the show areEvil-Lyn,Orko and Cringer. It's definitely watchable but I dunno if that makes me care for next season or next remaining episodes.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar who voices Teela in the new Masters of the Universe Revelation Netflix animated series today posted up on social media a picture of herself holding up the new Masters of the Universe Revelation Masterverse Teela figure from Mattel giving us our first look at it. We also see on the back of the cardback for the first time a glimpse at the Man-At-Arms, Spikor and Beast Man figures. Part one of Revelation which contains 5 episodes premiers tomorrow (7/23) on the streaming service.

Looks MYP-ish Teela... If the facial printing's as good or somewhat close to its earlier predecessors, consider my BBTS pre-order a done deal!

I read the IGN review, but I fail to understand how Teela having a lead role would make a MOTU fan angry, assuming the overall story is good. I could give a rats ass which character(s) get the most screen time as long as the overall story is good and makes sense. This is part one of a two part overall story, unlike the original series which was for the most part individual episodes where He-Man saves the day at the end of each one. Im not gonna spend time defending the show until I see it for myself to know if its good or not, but those getting hung up on Teela without having seen the series just seems ridiculous to me. If we end up getting a crappy story then thats a whole different ball game but I've not seen anything so far that would suggest that.

Well from what I read many fans are angry, which isn't unusual fans are always angry for no reason, but to be fair and to put myself in shoes of He-man fans, ifthey made Spider-man or Batman shows that was continuation of older show that had no actual animated content with them for decades(like it was in case with He-Man/Motu) and in new show they aren't main characters,I would be really bummed. Sure it depends how it's done, Batman Beyond was great example of how you can update old franchise and add new blood in it.

Why in the world were these not released before the show? Makes no sense to me to put out a comic prequel series that leads right into the first episode but you cant read it until 3 months after the episode.

Cool...now moving forward...

I'm glad for these updates (speaking generally)

I am actually even liking the prequel comic.

I will always be salty about what happen to my beloved 200X series but this is a nice change of pace
