by Jay Cochran
August 8, 2018
The Dragon Stars series is comprised of the most highly detailed and articulated figures in the Dragon Ball Super line. Standing at 6 1/2" and having 16 or more points of articulation and additional hands, these figures can be posed in hundreds of positions. The ongoing collectible series will include many characters from Dragon Ball's rich history.

Figures come packaged with an exclusive collectible piece that can be combined to form Broly. (Need both Waves I & J to complete Broly)

Wave I includes:
- Ultra Instinct Goku figure
- Vegeta figure
- Super Saiyan Gohan figure

Wave J includes:
- Future Trunks
- Vegito
- Goku Black

You can pre-order both waves now at BigBadToyStore.com.

Glad ultra instinct got some attention, but it'd be nice to get some of the fighters from the tournament of power, like Toppo. Or even try out characters like 17 and 18 who are pretty hard to get from sh figuarts.

The Goku Blackstoryline is actually one of the things that brought me back to Dragon Ball. While a little confusing with the multiverse and time travel elements, it was definitely a unique story for the Dragon Ball series. If I wasnt trying to keep my collection focused in a few select areas, Id definitely pick these guys up.

I might have to hop on these to get a BAF Broly....

My favorites are probably Future Trunks as he is a character I always dug and the Black Goku... Theres just something about the latters color motif that appeals to me.

Bandai America knows how to get me with this stuff. Who knows when we're getting an UI Goku from FIguarts at this point, but now here he is from the DS line. He'll probably be lame, but until Figuarts makes him, he'll do.

I haven't jumped into the Dragon Stars line yet. But have been temped to add to my Figuarts collection with stars releases.

Do they mesh well ?
