There are bigger figures. There's a 4" scale but they aren't shown here. They come on cards and there are pics out there and on this very site. Jakks makes 2.5" and 4" of all their lines such as the Mario figures and Sonic the Hedgehog. The articulation/joints aren't super sturdy but they're smaller scale so it's expected. The Mario 4" line has tons of characters so they have a history of going deep on lines. I only wish the playsets were for the 4" line, but I'll be getting 2.5" if the playsets are worth a damn.
Shown below is the new Jakks Pacific The Simpsons Figures and Other Items featuring the Family 2.5" Figure Multipack, Krusty the Clown Talking Plush Doll, Moe's Tavern Prank Phone, House Playset and Advent Calendar are available for pre-order from our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com.

Especially when it includes Santa's helper and Snowball II! I don't know if I'll go all in even if they do, but if I get the chance, I can see myself picking up the family, maybe even the house too. I won't mind having the extra Homer. Also, the Krusty doll would be cool to have too Personally I think what has been shown is terrible and looks like the stuff I have thrown in a bin from 1997. I'll again hold my judgement until this "collector line" is shown to me and everyone else. The Super7 stuff is fantastic....yeah it sucks I don't have the family in regular looks but that is more on the Disney License being pulled. To each there own....I'm certainly not buying a family box set for $20 where Maggie is a giant. Glad for all of you that these make happy though! That's what toys are meant to do. Side Note: Super7 Ralph Wiggum did not translate well from proto to final but man I sure do love my Kodos, Kang, Mr. Burns, Bart Man, Krusty, Poochie and Moe. Hopefully one day Super7 and Disney can kiss and make up and I can have my collection continue.....if not I collect enough stuff I'll just move on and keep these. Looking forward to Devil Flanders and Moo Moo Homer!
The good/evil Krusty doll is actually kind of awesome.

Super7's ultimates(all of them) should be $20 each then they'd sell like hot cakes. The other problem is the character choices. I think most people would want to get the family in their standard designs before going for variants and side characters.

So $40 and I have a really good looking Simpsons display .... Dangit
