Bosses at leading toy chain Toys "R" Us are upset with moviemaker QUENTIN TARANTINO over claims his twisted new action figure is being sold at their stores.
The Pulp Fiction director revealed his new Rapist Number One doll - based on his sick character in new Grindhouse film Planet Terror - was being sold at Toys "R" Us in recent interviews, but the company insists it wants nothing to do with the item.
In a statement released yesterday (18Apr07), Toys "R" Us said, "As a global toy retailer dedicated to kids and families, Toys "R" Us does not carry and has no plans to sell the line of Grindhouse action figures from NECA either in the US or abroad."
