NECA Looking To Offer TMNT Movie Turtle 2-Packs On Their Website This Week Plus Casey & Foot Animated Series 2-Pack Hitting Target This Week

NECA announced today that they are looking to offer some of their 90's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie 2-packs on their own NECA store website for both US and International customers this Thursday (7/16). Previously they had said these would only be available at physical Walmart stores.

Also the first TMNT wave 3 Animated 2-pack to be released at Target stores will be the one with the Casey Jones & Foot Soldier figures. The official release date for both online and physical stores is this Friday (7/17), but we are seeing reports of folks already starting to find them in stores. The release dates for the other 2-packs in wave 3 are 8/6 and 8/20. We don't yet know which set will be released on which date.

Here is the place holder link for the Casey and Foot Soldier set: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 7" Scale Action Figure - Cartoon Series 3 Casey Jones & Foot Soldier.

The deluxe animated series Metalhead figure is also slated to hit shelves and online this Friday at Target. We do not have a placeholder link for that one to share at this time.

Leatherhead set arrived today. I don't know if its art, but it sure is pretty.

Plus, I've never had an action figure come with rope before.

Okay, no beating around the bush. I just hopped on Ebay, searched till I found a price that wasn't TO cutthroat and ordered the Slash & Leatherhead set.

I'd honestly rather pay a little extra on Ebay than be jerked around by Neca, Target, and the Scalper-Bots, and have to run all over God's Great Green Earth in hopes the Target I hit will be the one graced with these little plastic b----rds.

And yeah, as soon as the prices cool off, I plan on doing the same with the April set.

Still bug me that I didn't have a fair chance to get Bebop and Rocksteady since my local Target stores not been releasing them... Now the story repeats with this new waves...

Hey, tell me if this sounds crazy.

Maybe, if Neca didn't fill LITERALLY every peg and sqaure inch of shelf space in their section of the collector wall with figures of the SAME three characters from the same three forty year-old slasher franchises, figures which are NOT exclusive to Target, they might have a little room to stock the figures that ARE. Figures like, oh say . . . TMNT?

In case you're wondering, two Targets this morning, no hits.

Today supposedly the pack with April was available at Target online... I find too late and now is sold out...

I don't think it was ever actually available online. At least it wasn't when I checked every couple of hours. I think since yesterday was the street date, everybody sees "Sold Out" and assumes they just missed it, despite the page being totally unchanged for the last two months.

On a side note, the April set IS available on Neca's website . . . for INTERNATIONAL sale only.

Dropped by nearest Target out of sheer boredom last night. Still nothing on the Neca shelves (except thousands of Freddy, Jason, Michael, that little twit from that Trick or Treat movie from years ago, and Godzillas of all shapes and sizes).

I did notice that a big ole stock cart loaded with books for the book section was parked in font of the Neca shelf, almost completely covering it. Think Target is trying to tell somebody something?

Probably hit my favored Target on my grocery run Friday.

I remember watching an interview with Randy where he said something along the lines of we don't talk about the third movie so I doubt we'll get anything from that movie. I also don't think it's fans want anyway. The movie line is limited and there's not much left to make save variants like the Spirit Splinter and the Ralph in disguise. Beyond the characters already mentioned by InspectorZartan there's not much else and I doubt NECA will make the TGRI scientist.

I wouldn't buy anything from the 3rd film if they made them so that's cool with me, I only ever planned on getting the turtles, shredder, foot, splinter, tokka & rahzar, super shred, casey and if they make an april (which they are now).. and I was going to be out anyways.. no interest in the other supporting characters
