The newly announced
NECA The Thing 7" Ultimate R.J. MacReady With Flame Thrower figure is available for pre-order now at
Walmart with an October 6 release date. The figure costs $30. NECA today released a few new images for the figure you can check out below. This figure will eventually be available everywhere.

It sucks that NECA's QC is a hit or miss yet they grab these cool licenses. I wish someone could release action figure versions of the Thing, it's something that McFarlane did many years ago.
Glad I saw this reveal before I ever saw the other release in person as I only need one and I prefer this portrayal.
