Batman Returns are being released as 'Deluxe Theatrical Editions' now i.e. an excuse to charge more for them while still only doing the same thing as normal figures since they've ditched the Build-A-Figure Penguin Commandos? That's disappointing, as is the lack of a Batman '89 Joker to round out that cinematic series' villains.
And no announcement of a Superman (2025) Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, Engineer or Lois Lane? Those are some big holes in the collection and unless we see some sudden drops around NYCC in October, time would seem to be running out to get them done in the McMultiverse style/scale.

I think I'll look at picking up new characters rather than new versions of the already done characters to supplement the roster. The ones already done are their iconic versions to me so I'm happy with that and since SFII was 'my' game, I'm going to be picky as to who else is cool enough to pick up.
Shown below are the first four 1/12 scale Masters of the Universe 200x Cartoon Series figures coming from Mondo which were on display at their SDCC booth. He-Man and Clawful will be available in September and Man-At-Arms and Skeletor will be available in November.
The figures will include diorama bases and various accessories. No word yet on prices for these.
Shown below are images of the new line of Masters of the Universe figures from Mattel based on the 200x cartoon series. These figures are said to stand about 6" tall, similar to their ThunderCats x MOTU mash-up line. Like their Origins figures you can swap parts among the figures. These figures were on display at their SDCC booth. The figures shown include:
- He-Man- Prine Adam- Man-At-Arms- Stratos- Ram Man- Roboto- Zodac- Moss Man- Skeletor- Beast Man- Evil-Lynn- Tri-Klops- Clawful
Oh, God. That Uhura looks awful! Please tell me there are other switchout heads.
Oh Hell yes, Miss Uhura! I really want that wave 3! all of them!

Ventress looks amazing but not sure if I need it. The stranger sith from the Acolyte is a must have for me. And I'm not sure we needed another Luke and Vader figure but this set is cool. I am disappointed they didn't add force hands like with the Anakin and Obi Wan set, but happy they at least updated the cape to be wired cloth this time-but that seemed to be the only upgrade.

I've been waiting for a good Glimmer and Entrapta since the disappointing MOTUC releases. But if She-Ra rereleases are what they need to do to keep interest in POP figures, I won't complain. The Masterverse Adora is a major surprise.
