Has The McFarlane Toys 7" Articulated Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn Figure Actually Been Revealed?!?

by Jay Cochran
January 30, 2020
Yesterday we shared with you this scan from the latest Diamond Previews magazine that gave us our first look at the upcoming new 7" articulated Spawn figure coming from McFarlane Toys. The figure will be part of their Mortal Kombat line since the character will be making an appearance in the Mortal Kombat 11 video game. After the image hit the net yesterday, we got word from a few different sources that state things have changed for the figure since the Previews image was created.

Details on what exactly has changed are unknown to us at this time, but until something newer is released, don't expect pre-orders to begin for this figure. While we thought the figure shown here looked pretty good, I expect whatever changes that are being made will improve the figure even more, though we will have to wait and see to know for sure.

We will update this story as it develops.

This is finally the Spawn figure I've been waiting for all of these years, I just hope once we get this, we can start actually getting a steady line of Spawn figures apart from the Mortal Kombat series Spawn, it's been way to much of a waste for McFarlane to not give us a articulated spawn figure line

I am so pumped for this figure

Glad to see Spawn figure that has SuperArticulation, I am definitelygetting it, despite my collection being mostly in 1/12 scale, but in case of Spawn its justifiable since hes supposed to be really tall and damn I wantedarticulated Spawn since 4ever and not being able to afford Image anniversary spawn figure that MK version will fill the and hit the geek spot.

It looks good but that face looks like he is so bored. I would have liked it to have a more menacing expression.

Spawn #32 introduced the right foot/ankle/calf armor the previous poster asked about.

Did it have a purpose? Ive never seen it referenced as anything but aesthetics.

Its just designed that way. There was nothing int he comics or anything like that. Hes been shown without the clubby looking foot as well but that kind of became a staple to his design.

Not a fan of Spawn but this looks pretty good so far, if only the DC Multiverse looked like this.

Im told changes have been made for this figure since this image was made, so this apparently isn't entirely accurate representation of it. Not sure what has changed.

Good return to form, glad McFarlane is continuing with his articulation trend.

Where I'm not familiar with Spawn outside of the 90's movie and a few random episodes of the cartoon, this looks awesome. I did a few searchesbut didn't find an answer, so would anyone be able to tell me the reason for the right foot design? Is it for more devastating kicks?
