'Avatar: Fire And Ash' Teaser Poster

Avatar: Fire and Ash is a forthcoming science fiction film slated to serve as a sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water, which was released in 2022. This makes it the third film in the Avatar series.

The film is produced and distributed by 20th Century Studios, for which James Cameron directs, co-edits, and co-writes the movie. The screenplay is a collaboration between Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver. They developed the story with Josh Friedman and Shane Salerno.

Returning for this installment includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Giovanni Ribisi, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Jemaine Clement, Britain Dalton, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, and Duane Evans, Jr.

New cast members include David Thewlis and Oona Chaplin.
