Deadline has announced that Ana Nogueira, a writer for Supergirl, is working on a new version of Wonder Woman for DC Studios. She is also set to write a live-action Teen Titans film under Warner Bros., which is being run by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
The movie is directed by Craig Gillespie and stars Milly Alcock. It is based on Tom King’s graphic novel, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, with a release date scheduled for June 26, 2026.
Gal Gadot played Wonder Woman in the first two films, directed by Patty Jenkins. However, her third film was canceled after Gunn and Safran took control of the studio. The first Wonder Woman film opened with $103.2 million domestically, earning $412.8 million in the U.S. and nearly $824 million worldwide. The sequel performed poorly, earning just $46.8 million domestically and about $170 million globally.
DC Studios is also working on a show called Paradise Lost for HBO. It will focus on Themyscira, Wonder Woman’s homeland.
