Shotguns and Motion Trackers Missing From Movie Maniacs 7 Hicks

November 5, 2004

New developments in the continuing saga this is Movie Maniacs 7's Crpl. Hicks.

McFarlane Toys posted a statement on their web board today regarding some of news surrounding the Corporal Dwayne Hicks figure.

First and formost, we'd like to highlight and celebrate the fact that McFarlane fans actually does listen to fans, and due to fan's outcries at the altering of Hicks' accessories, McFarlane has decided to include the USCM Motion Tracker accessory with the standard release figure of Hicks in Movie Maniacs 7.

An interesting side note to that is that production was already underway on the line, so many of the first figures were already produced sans Tracker. McFarlane says that these will mostly be overseas releases in tri-lingual packaging and that the majority of stateside releases will have the accessory. This has created an interesting and no doubt collectible variant, so be on the lookout.

Lastly, McFarlane will continue to offer a limited number of Hicks' Shotgun accessory free by mail to fans who purchase the figure.

All you have to do is cut out the UPC from the Hicks figures' packaging, and mail it, along with your address to:

MM7 HICKS SHOTGUN
c/o McFarlane Toys Customer Service
P.O. Box 12230
Tempe, AZ 85284-0038

Then kick back and wait to arm your Colonial Marine to the teeth if the bugs don't get him first.

Remember, it's one accessory per name and address and on a first come first serve basis. When they're gone, they're gone, so pick him up quick and mail off that UPC the same day.

On all fronts, Hicks is shaping up to be one collectible figure, and we haven't even gotten to the Collectors Club exclusive yet.
