$50 for this, really?!? That feels like a stretch. It does feel like Todd has decided that his lines are established now and he can start raising prices. The Collectors Edition pricing on DC Multiverse figures of $29.99 seems to be the new standard for that line.
Like I said above I really wanted a Bjorns Barends piece and this is HALF that. I hate it when fans are like "I'll wait for a sale" and I wonder if that's why we're getting such lazy stuff now. I guess I can see Todd's perspective there, but Damn. Now I will be the fan waiting for a sale.
Throne Spawn was underwhelming so not happy that's what this is essentially, with some accessories and it's $50?? And the @##@@ wings again - seriously! It's taking advantage of fans. It costs him support I think. How's that Kickstarter coming??
It's just not fun. However I think the newly tooled torso and arm look fantastic honestly. If they had done likewise with the leg pouches I would be singing a different tune. So I will have to mod him accordingly even though I shouldn't have to. I will wait for a sale.
Is he like, Megafig sized or is Todd expecting us to pay a that kind of markup on a regular sized figure with a couple extra guns and 3 little minifigs? I honestly can't tell.

Yeah feelin fatigued with Todd's Spawn output as of recent, I've passed on mostly everything lately, because it's boring, Spawn is Todd basically and he can't even put much effort into it, I as well agree, can we get a Retro wave? give us the characters we love, so much of what he's putting out is either uninspired or a new character, I want the old stuff redone, it's sad when my spawn collection is just the stuff from 20 years ago, dude can't even update because he did it right back then, I think at this point even if he did update stuff I'd probably pass, I already own the figures, I have doubts you gonna do better braaa, infact I feel like at this point yer gonna do worse, because Todd is a money man, he's gonna give us a figure with some brutal inaccuracys so we buy it because we love Spawn, and then he does a more accurate one like a month later so we keep opening our wallets, Nope! not playing that game, back up with that.
