Icon was a Gamestop and Mcfarlane Toys Store exclusive.
Any reveal on where the Platinum would be sold?

I love we get two different black heroes, but neither are icon and how if they are supposed to be the same guy can they have different complexions

It was.
There's really nothing overly complicated about the original costume, the most complex of which is essentially a raised circle in the center of the chest. But I guess that's too much of a challenge for McFarlane these days, opting instead to go with a set of costumes that have only seen a handful of appearances.

Is the original costume ever worn in DC or was it pre-DC? If it was pre-DC then maybe it's a rights issue. The line typically leans more modern, and the original costume looks like it would cost more to make, so I'm sure it's all part of it. I think the old costume looks silly, so I'm fine with the modern, DC version.
