It's bloody 2025 today. Could this guy really only take some 240p photo where barely anything can be made out???

It looks like most of the caped figures are plastic again. I don't know if it's the Tariffs, so that involves cost-cutting, but as nice as some of those figures look, I'm saving money because I'm not going back to plastic capes again. Those wired capes spoiled me.

The Superman pretty clearly has a cloth, wired cape. You can see that it is scrunched in on itself in the packaging like all his cloth capes.

Are you talking about the Superman movie figure or the digital renders? Hard to tell from those pics what the Superman figures have.

McFarlane's wired capes aren't the best wired capes ever but I kind of love them nonetheless. They add a lot more to the display options. If they go back to plastic capes I'll be bummed but I'll live with it.

These figures were planned out and budgeted before the 2024 election so their capes have nothing to do with it. Figures take over a year to year and a half to release.

There are hundreds of figures. We have been getting waves with 1 or no Batmans for a long time. Theres an occasional wave of mostly Batman but typically thats no longer the case.

You really like McFarlane.

Whoa, it seems MacFarlane finally realized that DC has more characters than Batman. Seriously most of their previous toy waves had like 4 versions of Batman in them. Now they are actually making characters I am tempted to get. Like, seriously, Mr. (Director) Bones??? Never thought I'd see him get a toy. Or Monarch!

I'm glad Krypto is coming with Superman because I slept of that previous Superman with Krypto pack-in and now that Krypto sells for $50 alone.

This movie is our best chance to get a Lois Lane. But I'm skeptical he will do her or do her well (thinking of Gal Gadot's figures).

Those movie figures look pretty good! New packing is a surprise, three heads for one Superman is a surprise, they're going all out. I had already committed to getting that Lex, just to finally have a nice business suit Lex, maybe even to do a head swap with, if I didn't think the head looked comicsy enough, I can't really decide yet from this picture, but I like the look of the body still. And that Superman looks good enough, I may have to bite. And I also really want fluffy Krypto!

If you're referring to Mcfarlane I think it's because they are all digital renders. I believe most will be wired capes. And I kind of recall hearing Mcfarlane in an interview actually say that it was cheaper to do the wired capes than make it full on plastic.
