More Superman Movie Figures Coming From McFarlane Toys

This past Friday for "Superman Day" we had several new DC Multiverse 7" Figures from McFarlane Toys go up for pre-order based on the upcoming James Gunn Superman movie. We saw a regular Superman figure along with a Deluxe version with Krypto. We also saw Metamorpho and a Kaiju MegaFig go up for pre-order. The two Superman figures have sold out at most retailers, but you can still get the other two at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth.

Those however won't be the only 7" figures from the movie released by McFarlane Toys. On Friday we also got preview images for Lex Luthor, Mr. Terrific and Robot #4. While we only have the preview images for these figures at this time, these are currently listed on the Walmart website.

- Lex Luthor

- Robot #4

Mr. Terrific does not appear to yet be listed but Walmart does have a listing for the Ultraman figure which we have only briefly seen in the trailers.

- Ultraman

Based on overseas listings both Lex Luthor and Ultraman should be Deluxe figures. The Lex is said to include a baby Kaiju. I haven't seen anything that suggests what about the Ultraman figure would make it deluxe.

I also should note when it comes to the overseas listings I have seen some conflicting info suggesting Terrific and Robot #4 could end up being released as chase figures or maybe they will have chase versions.

Beyond that I have also seen listings suggesting we will get Gold Label store exclusives of Superman and an unnamed villain. These will be battle damage versions. I assume the villain will either be a battle damaged version of Ultraman or Lex.

I should also note, at this time I have NOT seen nothing that suggests we will get 7" figures of Guy Gardner Green Lantern or Hawkgirl, both of which have been featured in the trailers. That doesn't mean they won't be coming, but again at this time I have seen nothing that suggests they will be released.

Guy Gardner is getting a DC Super Powers 4.5" figure release which is one of the figures that went up for pre-order on Friday. Metamorpho, Mr. Terrific and Superman are also getting the DC Super Powers treatment along with the Fortress of Solitude playset (All went up for pre-order on Friday), and we told you yesterday about the Gold Label version of the Fortress of Solitude playset that will feature the Robot #4 figure.

Besides that you can also expect to see a release of a DC Super Powers T-Craft vehicle.

No word yet from McFarlane on when we might see these remaining figures go up for pre-order but when those details become available we will be sure to pass them on to you.

Toy Habits touched on this and said Anaxon also lists a 5-pack with a mystery figure. Itll either be the robot or possibly Hawk-Girl. Mr. Terrifics vehicle is also coming. There are links to the items but nothing there, yet.

I certainly feel snookered by McFarlane since I pre-ordered on their own website (which doesn't offer easy order cancellation like BBTS) to get a less complete version of the playset.

Its easy as anyone else. Email them and say cancel item number from order number and its done. It happens same day.

There was no snookering here. If these come with figs it clearly states it and this clearly states theyre not included. This isnt the first Super Powers item to have 2 versions. One with a figure and alternate deco and the other the opposite. I know its easier to crap on the guy but hes not conning anyone.

Keeping track of McFarlane's releases and variants is like looking for the Holy Grail. And just about as fruitless.

Yesterday we saw going up for pre-order at places like our sponsors BigBadToyStore.com and Entertainment Earth the new DC Super Powers: Superman Movie Fortress of Solitude Playset from McFarlane Toys.Since then there has been a bit of confusion as to whether the playset will include a 4.5" action figure of Robot #4. The Robot is featured on the packaging but down at the bottom of the packaging it says "Figures Not Included."

To make it more confusing their was not indication Robot #4 would be getting a single release. So then how would one obtain the figure shown on the packaging???Well based on overseas listings we first told you about back in December 2024, it appears their will be a GOLD LABEL version of the playset released that will include the figure.- DC DIRECT SUPER POWERS PLAYSET FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE WITH SUPERMAN ROBOT #4 FIGURE (SUPERMAN MOVIE)(GLD LABEL)

The Gold Label version of the playset has yet to be officially announced by McFarlane Toys and has not yet gone up for pre-order anywhere. It's not 100% clear which store the playset will be exclusive to, but their have been some indications that it might get released through Amazon. When more details about the Gold Label version become available we will be sure to let you know, but just BE AWARE that the regular version that went up for pre-order yesterday will not include Robot #4.

That Kaju is pretty lame (even Kong and Godzilla are better), Metamorpho is pretty ridiculous in those short pants, why does Superman only get one fist?

Because it's a deluxe ?

I almost thought they wouldn't get a pedestal or a stand, because they are only visible in the box (I was afraid they would fall like the barn door).

The Spin Master Kaiju is almost better than the McFarlane version. By the way, in the blurry picture where we first saw these figures, I noticed (except for McFarlane) what a weird barrel body they made for Superman, I guess they couldn't build that lame costume any other way (I could be wrong).

Yikes these look terrible.

If you missed Krypto, the two pack is still up at Best Buy.
