This past Friday for "
Superman Day" we had several new
DC Multiverse 7" Figures from
McFarlane Toys go up for pre-order based on the upcoming
James Gunn Superman movie. We saw a
regular Superman figure along with a
Deluxe version with Krypto. We also saw
Metamorpho and a
Kaiju MegaFig go up for pre-order. The two Superman figures have sold out at most retailers, but you can still get the other two at places like our sponsors
BigBadToyStore.com and
Entertainment Earth.
Those however won't be the only 7" figures from the movie released by
McFarlane Toys. On Friday we also got preview images for
Lex Luthor,
Mr. Terrific and
Robot #4. While we only have the preview images for these figures at this time, these are currently listed on the Walmart website.
- Lex Luthor
- Robot #4
Mr. Terrific does not appear to yet be listed but Walmart does have a listing for the
Ultraman figure which we have only briefly seen in the trailers.
- Ultraman
Based on overseas listings both
Lex Luthor and
Ultraman should be
Deluxe figures. The
Lex is said to include a baby
Kaiju. I haven't seen anything that suggests what about the Ultraman figure would make it deluxe.
I also should note when it comes to the overseas listings I have seen some conflicting info suggesting
Terrific and
Robot #4 could end up being released as chase figures or maybe they will have chase versions.
Beyond that I have also seen listings suggesting we will get
Gold Label store exclusives of
Superman and an
unnamed villain. These will be battle damage versions. I assume the villain will either be a battle damaged version of
Ultraman or
Lex.
I should also note, at this time I have
NOT seen nothing that suggests we will get 7" figures of
Guy Gardner Green Lantern or
Hawkgirl, both of which have been featured in the trailers. That doesn't mean they won't be coming, but again at this time I have seen nothing that suggests they will be released.
Guy Gardner is getting a
DC Super Powers 4.5" figure release which is one of the figures that went up for pre-order on Friday.
Metamorpho, Mr. Terrific and
Superman are also getting the
DC Super Powers treatment along with the Fortress of Solitude playset (All went up for pre-order on Friday), and we told you yesterday about the
Gold Label version of the Fortress of Solitude playset that will feature the
Robot #4 figure.
Besides that you can also expect to see a release of a
DC Super Powers T-Craft vehicle.
No word yet from
McFarlane on when we might see these remaining figures go up for pre-order but when those details become available we will be sure to pass them on to you.

I'd happen to agree with you.
At least theinterchangeable face plates on the Mr. Terrific figure comes with different expressions, on the Superman one they're all the same.
I want to see someone try to put the movie Mr T arms and jacket on the comic one. I will buy the movie one if that works.
Maybe 5POA can do it?
Ive seen him for sale at one place in Canada and he was $59.99. No thank you.

These look pretty good and are giving me marginally more comfort that we're getting more of the cast, but would it really kill them to just announce the full movie line in one go instead of two characters per month with no guarantee that we're going to get all the super powered characters? I know a Lois would seem to be too much to ask from McFarlane, but at least Spin Master have Hawkgirl, Engineer and that Lex Luthor in their lines and we don't even have Guy Gardner announced yet for Multiverse...
I'm not very much interested in anything I've seen from this movie but the robot !! Idk why I feel i need it

They don't look too bad but I'm not into this movie's figures. And the new 52 figure should have had the detailed piping into the suit and it did not, which is a bummer. Head sculpt is not great, something off about it.

You'd think he got his start working with Troma or something...

Yes, the more brutal and gross the better.
