Stephanie Fireman Joins DC Comics As Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing

Stephanie Fierman, a well-respected and accomplished senior marketing executive, has joined the DC Comics staff as Senior Vice President — Sales & Marketing. In this newly created position, Fierman will oversee both the direct sales and the book trade activities of the company, as well as the marketing and promotion of the company's brands across its own publications and products, including DC Comics, Vertigo, WildStorm, CMX, and MAD Magazine.

Most recently, Ms. Fierman was Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Zagat Survey, where she was responsible for driving global growth through strategic sales, marketing and brand initiatives. Prior to Zagat, Ms. Fierman was Chief Marketing Officer at Reed Business Information, where she oversaw traditional and online development of brands including Variety, B&C and Publishers Weekly. Earlier business and brand development work included stints at Winstar Communications, JP Morgan Chase and Citigroup.

Ms. Fierman is a Harvard Business School Baker Scholar and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
