As the excitement over the return of Supergirl continues to grow, DC Comics rush solicits the trade paperback of the hit collected edition SUPERMAN/BATMAN: SUPERGIRL. This edition follows the sell-out at DC Comics of the SUPERMAN/BATMAN SUPERGIRL HC.
The SUPERMAN/BATMAN: SUPERGIRL TP (JUL058029) collects SUPERMAN/BATMAN #8-13, the best-selling storyline written by Jeph Loeb with art and cover by Michael Turner that reintroduced the Girl of Steel into the DCU! It is scheduled to arrive in stores on September 14.
"After the very fast sellouts of SUPERGIRL #0 and #1, it's clear that reader and retailer enthusiasm for Supergirl is very strong," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP Sales. "We're happy to rush this collection out so retailers can put it in the hands of their customers."
The SUPERMAN/BATMAN: SUPERGIRL TP (JUL058029) is available for order now and is scheduled to arrive in stores on September 14 with a cover price of $12.99 U.S. To ensure delivery on that date retailers must place orders by Sunday, September 2; please note that quantities on this first printing will be limited and may sell out before September 2. DC urges retailers to place orders as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
