Devil’s Due Publishing must be addicted to conventions, because they’ve added another one to its list: the Official Transformers Collectors Convention (OTFCC) being held at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center just outside of Chicago. The extraordinary 20th anniversary event will be the second year in attendance for Devil’s Due Publishing, whose G.I.Joe vs. The Transformers crossover titles have been extremely successful.
A convention special featuring the G.I. Joe vs. the Transformers Volume 2 CONVENTION SPECIAL (so far only available at Comic-con International 2004)
will be available during the convention held this weekend July 31 - Aug. 1st , 2004. The convention special has a full color preview in it, as well as various interviews with artists and writers of the series. Artist Tim Seeley will be available on Saturday to sign copies of this book, as well as any other comic books he’s contributed to. Devil’s Due president and writer of G.I.Joe vs. the Transformers Vol. 1, Josh Blaylock will be on hand Saturday as well.
In addition to the crossover series, Devil’s Due will also have related merchandise on hand, such as comic book issues of Voltron, the Voltron trade paperback, Street Fighter, and more.
