The eyes on Frodo look weird, the head could use some work, it also took me a while to realize what he was holding I thought it was something else.

I just want more Orc figures to go along with my Toy Biz line...

OK, let's see, if I remember correctly Wave 2 would be Aragorn and the  Nazgul, maybe I read it wrong or there was a change of plans. I still need to see the first two figures to decide if I'm on board, It also looks like DST wants to keep the accessories a secret, all right, I'll stick around.

I still have my Battle of Helm's Deep box set from Toy Biz and they still look good to me. I might keep an eye out for this line but I doubt I'll get into it.

I keep an eye on this from the fence too, I love LoTR and I still have some of my old Toy Biz figures, they were great in their time, there were some whose aesthetics was ruined by their gimmicks and I'm glad that after so many years finally another company will be releasing LoTR figures...well, kinda since DST is not a company that I'd have taken into account to give the license, however I've heard good comments about their John Wick figure and that gives me a little hope on this line, but I'm not holding my breath neither. So let's wait and see.

I just really want that Build-a-figure Sauron more than anything, Ringwraith and Goblin are also must haves

I am really looking forward for this I would love to update the toy biz ones but it is diamond select who are notorious for dropping lines cross our fingers they dont and they get to a point where we could get a balrog. The neca one was always my grail but never found.

I would also like this line to be successful so that we can see a good number of characters having new versions, however I think a 7-inch scale Balrog would be far beyond what DST could consider feasible or profitable, they are not even very sure if they will continue making more BAFs besides Sauron.

If we're uncertain of getting the major characters from the LOTR, (I'm looking at you Gandalf the Grey), it's a bit hard to start collecting these new 7" versions;  even with a BAF Sauron in tow.

To tell the truth there are several figures in the old Toy Biz  LoTR line that are not in perfectly 6 inches.
