Vac Metal is true. Sorry forgot to add these additional details when they sent over the pricing info:

This release marks a major milestone for the line - for the first time, were officially incorporating vac metal parts, a long-awaited fan request and the most highly demanded feature to date. Even better? Other vehicles in the line will also feature vac metal, just like the iconic designs of the original '80s toys!

Does that mean the vehicles going up for preorder soon will have Vac Metal or will there be more expensive vac metal variant releases?

$175?! I must admit, I am a little caught off guard by that price.

Wasn't the msrp of the regular "Rhino" $100? $75 for tiny little Scott Trakker, T-Bob and a new paint job?

I am very pleased to hear vac metal is part of this line now, but WTAF is this? 75 dollar SDCC tax is absurd and shameful

Its supposedly vac-metal. Parts of the renders appear to be more vacmetal in appearance but it hasnt been confirmed to my knowledge. The vacmetal combined with it being limited is the reason for the cost. That and Im sure theres an SDCC tax thrown in there. It had been rumored at $170 going back almost 6 months so it all turned out true, so hopefully the vacmetal thing is true for those who want it.

Product Details:

The Mobile Defense Unit is a collector-grade reimagining of the classic Rhino vehicle, reworked in a bold magenta finish with vintage red/orange striping, and packed with transforming features and character detail. This nostalgic powerhouse includes four core characters: Matt Trakker, Bruce Sato, Scott Trakker, and fan-favorite T-Bob, making it one of the most complete MASK collector offerings to date.

With flip-down panels, hidden compartments, classic-style uniforms, and retro window-box packaging, this set delivers on vintage spirit with modern execution.
