Palisades reveals their first dynamic statue from Alien3

Elkridge, MD (February 24, 2004) – Palisades Toys is pleased to present their first polystone statue based on Alien3 — the Alien Queen Chestburster. Although it appeared on screen for only a few brief seconds – and never in plain sight – the Queen Chestburster played a pivotal role in the film. Ripley’s horror at being the host for the Queen was compounded by her realization that her status as incubator was the only thing that saved her from the Dog Alien. Ripley’s suicide scene – her sacrificial plunge into the molten lead in order to kill the Queen Chestburster – was one of the most dramatic moments in the Alien Quadrilogy.

Now, for the first time ever, the infamous newborn Queen Chestburster is rendered in 3 dimensions in the eerie spiral pose made famous by the movie poster. And of course, she includes all of the stunning attention to detail that you have come to expect from Palisades’ line of Alien products.
