A new Wizard World Philadelphia Convention exclusive

Elkridge, MD (May 12, 2005) – In addition to the previously announced Super Grover and Frog Scout Leader Kermit exclusive figures, Palisades Toys has revealed a third convention exclusive for Wizard World Philadelphia: a variant Spike PALz figure.

“Spike is one of those characters from Buffy that people cannot seem to get enough of,� commented Palisades President & CEO, Michael Horn, “Everyone loves the bad-boy. So in addition to the regular PALz in Series 2, we wanted to offer a different version of Spike, in another version of his ‘signature’ outfit.�

The outfit in question is Spike’s classic black duster, but rather than the black jeans and red shirt worn by the regular-release PALz, the convention exclusive features grey pants and a black shirt. And of course, he comes packaged with his pack of Morley cigarettes. The repainted PALz has been strictly limited to 500 pieces, and will only be available at the convention, and to members of the Palisades Collectors Club.
