Old Man ZIM Lands In Chicago

Elkridge, MD (August 2, 2005) – With the kick off for Wizard World Chicago just a few short days away, Palisades Toys would like to take the opportunity to remind Con attendees of one of their exciting Wizard World Chicago Exclusives.

Though Invader ZIM’s most frequently worn disguise is that of a human “Skool” kid, he has been known to try on other earthly camouflage as well – such as in “Attack of the Saucer Morons” when he goes to retrieve the Voot Cruiser dressed in the guise of an Old Man. Or at least, he wears what he thinks an old man looks like – white beard, brown jacket, pink hat with purple polka-dots and a flower…
Now, Palisades brings you the Old Man ZIM action figure, available exclusively at Wizard World Chicago and to members of the Palisades Collectors Club. So, with all of the ZIM disguises available, why choose to make a figure of this one for Palisades’ first ZIM Convention exclusive..? Because seriously – the only thing funnier than a little green alien disguised as a child is a little green alien disguised as an old man…
Old Man ZIM comes complete with Doggie Disguise GIR (with the hood flipped back, and GIR emerging from the suit) as well as a Chihuahua, a “Skool” lunch tray, an IRKEN vermin, and an Obedience Controller. This accessory laden two-pack will be available at the convention for $20 each.
