He’s ugly, he’s ugly not. She’s ugly, she’s ugly not. Who would want something so ugly? After recently acquiring the exclusive Uglydoll license, Gamewright, a Massachusetts-based game company has released the awfully fast and fun Uglydoll card game. Who ever thought that the playfully designed Uglys would be a perfect match with Gamewright’s educational and inspirational games?!
The Uglydolls make their gaming debut with characters striking unique poses on playing cards. Players turn over these cards until they spot three matching Uglys and then race to grab the match before they all get snatched. Whoever claims the most cards, wins the game.
Alison Yada, VP of Marketing for Gamewright, fell in love at first sight with the Uglys. “We acquired the Uglydoll license because we felt that the property was a perfect match for the type of games that we create. From the moment we first met the Uglys, we were smitten by the playful design and wonderful sense of humor behind the characters. We are extremely selective about the brands we partner with and feel fortunate to have found one that fits in so nicely with our line.”
Gamewright’s Uglydoll card games are available at Barnes and Noble along with many fine local toy stores.
