Takara, one of the most popular action figure manufacturers in Japan, is releasing several new figures, available exclusively in North America through Diamond Comic Distributors!
Takara has produced some of the most prized and sought-after collectibles ever created. They are perhaps most well known for their Microman (a.k.a. Micronauts) and Diaclone (a.k.a. Transformers) lines of toys from the 1970s, which introduced the concept of figures with interchangeable parts and transforming actions! It was these lines— which both continue to this day— that helped solidify their place as one of the top figure manufacturers in the world. And these new Microman 2003 figures will prove, once again, why Takara is one of the best!
Imported from Japan, the Microman 2003: Micro Force Action Figures features four new Micoman figures, all featuring newly designed bodies! Commander, Gunner, Ninja, and Spy each come with chrome parts, weapons, and five variant hands. The Tatsunoko Fight Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets Ken Action Figure depicts the popular character from the hit Battle of the Planets anime as an incredible Microman! This figure is based on Ken’s appearance in the Tatsunoko Fight video game, and includes a sword accessory and five variant hands. All of the figures for the new line stand 4" tall and feature an amazing 30 points of articulation! Scheduled to ship in August 2003, these are figures that no fan of Micronauts and unique collectibles will want to miss!
