Australian Director Russell Mulcahy ["Highlander"] has been asked to direct two films in the "Mortal Kombat" film series, according to
The Unofficial Mortal Kombat movie page.
The third and fourth "Mortal Kombat" movies will be apparently be linked by story. The third film will be called "Mortal Kombat : Devastation", whilst the working title for the fourth is "Mortal Kombat : Warzone".
The third film, which starts shooting in November in both China and Australia, stars Christopher Lambert, reprising his role from the first film as superpowered good-guy Rayden.
