Newsarama has learned that for a limited time after its September 7th release date, The Punisher DVD will ship with an exclusive prequel Punisher comic written by Garth Ennis, penciled by Steve Dillon, and inked by Jimmy Palmiotti. The comic will set the stage for the film version of the character, showing what happened to Frank Castle before the action of the film picks up.
