'Slash' Action Figure Coming From McFarlane!

by Outsiders
September 2, 2004
McFarlane Toys has announced the latest figure to join their expanding collection of music figures. Slash, considered to be one of the greatest guitarists to come out of the late 1980s, and a former member of GUNS N' ROSES, has become the latest edition.

With his trademark top hat and omnipresent cigarette, the guitarist born Saul Hudson challenged and destroyed the stagnant musical scene of the late '80s with his former band. Slash still remains one of the premier hard rock guitarists of all time, touring currently with VELVET REVOLVER whose debut album, "Contraband", has reached platinum status.

"It's extremely flattering and humbling to be immortalized in plastic," Slash said in a statement.

The figure will feature Slash with his top hat and leather jacket while playing guitar. It will be available in July 2005 and will sell for $10-$12.
