I'm thinking the nostalgia factor is the selling point here. Me, personally I can't say I'm really interested in getting them.

ugh maybe it's just me but these turtles look like knock offs, come on playmates this is your bread and butter, the glossy plastic looks cheap, the paint apps on the teeth of these turtles is awful, the OG figures from 89 look better than this, also didn't we just see these figures all released like a few months ago (other then the villain pack) ?

We have to cut Playmates some slack. No doubt the roll out of the next incarnation of the TMNT has been delayed, like everything else. Therefore, Playmates has to limp along as best they can with stuff like this.
