Celebration III Coverage: Star Wars Comes To Television With A Live-Action Series & More Clone Wars Animated Series

George Lucas himself today at the Star Wars: Celebration III convention in Indianapolis Indiana today confirmed that he would begin work on a new live action Star Wars telvision series sometime next year. The show will take place place between Episodes III and IV. The episodes have already been written and will only feature secondary characters. The first series is slated to contain 11 episodes.

Also confirmed is a 30 minute 3-D animated Clone Wars series. This will be an expansion from the short episodes currently running on Cartoon Network.
