Love the update on the articulation, and love how open they are about the thought that was put into it. Really digging the double sword grip pose for the knight
The Four Horsemen have provided a nice look at the NEW BODIES for the Mythic Legions: Necronominus Wave Knight and Skeleton figures via Steve Sykes and Jesse Arnold. Both of these figures feature an increased range of motion in the new bodies! Two figures that snuck into our display at last weekends Power-Con were test shots of the new knight and skeleton bodies introduced in the Necronominus wave. The full skeleton body is what is under the robes for Maxillius the Harvester, while the knight build is a bit of a mix of new parts, including some older pieces from a Sir Owain that we added for this display. Both of these figures feature an increased range of motion in the new limbs, and you can see the knight easily hitting that coveted two-handed weapon pose.Weve said this multiple times, but our goal with these new bodies is to maintain the aesthetic that Legions had become known for, as well as the interchangeability and compatibility of parts, while increasing the range of motion. This new figure does not have double-jointed limbs, but the idea was never just to use that existing articulation approach and call it a day - our focus was on getting more movement and posability while still creating toys that people will handle and immediately recognize as Legions and which they can pop apart and use with their existing figures from these lines! We cannot wait for these to land in fans hands so we can see some of the incredible new poses they hit for photos and displays! The entire Necronominus wave is in the preproduction process now. Delivery dates are looking good for mid next year and we will of course post more updates as that comes closer. As for other waves like Poxxus or Gravenight, stay tuned for good news on those soon!Image credits to Steve Sykes and Jesse Arnold.

I think this is shaping up to be one of their best assortments yet. There's a pretty broad appeal here between the high fantasy undead aspect and then some good low fantasy semi-realistic knight-type characters without too much flourish but enough to make them interesting - I think that's something that will appeal to a lot of people.

The Four Horsemen have been showing us Mythic Legions: Necronominus Wave "Fine Cut Samples for their upcoming wave of figures! Fine cuts is one of the stages in the approval process for creating action figures. Before the expensive steel molds are cut for the figures, our factory makes temporary molds, often using silicone, to run the parts for testing. Since silicone molds are much cheaper to make than the final steel ones, this allow us to make any necessary changes at this stage of the process. They've also added some new parts to the Sir Elijah and Sir Gideon Heavensbrand 2 figures from the Mythic Legions: Necronominus wave! While these new additions may be small, they think they make a pretty big impact. They are of course talking about the armored loin pieces shown in these photos. Both of these figures come with premium soft goods covering their chest armor and falling below their waist. Previously they had shown images of these figures minus the soft goods so fans could see the bodies underneath for pop-and-swap and customizing reasons. Doing that made them realize that, while the armored body below looks great, it needed a plastic loin piece to cover the exposed hip area. That is what they are showing here! Wow. What amazing figures. I don't really want to start a new line but these are pretty tempting.
